很久没有露面了，最近想给大家分享一些RAP，今天第一首《Remember the name》。

谁是Fort Minor？国内的听众是不是听过？什么又是《Remember the name》？国内的听众肯定听过，CCTV-5的NBA节目一天到晚都会放这首歌的高潮部分，但是从来不会完整的放出来让大家体会，因为它是一首RAP，一首纯正的RAP。

说起Fort Minor我们就不得不复习一下Linkin Park。因为Fort Minor就是Linkin Park的Mike Shinoda的个人音乐计划，而且他在各位好友的帮助下已经发行了一张专辑《The Rising Tied》。《Remember the name》就是其中的脍炙人口的一首。这张专辑是由Mike Shinoda自己制作混音，亲自创作专辑里的每一首歌曲，并且几乎演奏了每一样乐器、亲身参与每一项细节。《Believe Me》迅速成为热门单曲之后，Mike Shinoda似乎已经自在地回归到他的音乐本质。

一直以来，身为Linkin Park主音的Mike Shinoda其实更扮演了重要的核心创作角色，同时与外界合作频繁――不要忘记他曾先后连同两位团员Joseph Hahn与Chester Bennington，分别为X-Ecutioners与Handsome Boy Modeling School这两大Hip Hop组合的专辑跨刀，带来《It’s Goin‘ Down》与《Rock And Roll (Could Never Hip Hop Like This) Part 2》，还受邀为Depeche Mode经典旧作《Enjoy The Silence》炮制Remix收录於Remixes 81―04中；是以最终他是首位以个人姿态出击的LP成员，也属意料中事。

为什么选择以Fort Minor名义而非自己名字发表，是因为Mike将之视为一个有不少圈中好手共同参予、具无限可能性的音乐计划，而不只是一张个人专辑那么简单。Mike也在接受MTV访问时说明了命名为Fort Minor的原因“Fort表示某种沈重、强硬的感觉，而Minor可以有两种解释，其一意思是渺小微弱，其二是――音乐的理论中有两种基本的和弦，大调或者小调，一般来说小调和弦听起来比较黑暗、忧伤。这张专辑便是关於这些极端元素并置时所可能激荡产生的动能与创作光谱，因此Fort Minor这个名字再适合不过。”

不过千万不要以为Mike Shinoda会带来另一张Linkin Park式唱片，相反地，他所意图完成的，正是一张足以反映其深厚Hip Hop底蕴的个人化作品，是以在先前Linkin Park那张Mash-Up专辑《Collision Course》合作愉快并与Mike结成好友的Hip Hop核心指标Jay-Z，便受邀出任执行制作。

且不评论整张专辑，就论《Remember the name》这一首歌。整首歌都在大量弦乐铺陈下酝酿著山雨欲来的慑人张力，歌词的创作上也显示了Mike的功力。我们都听说过各种各样的关于100%的俗语，于是当歌曲开始时，我情不自禁的就开始把这些百分比相加起来，当发现远超过100%的时候，突然意识到我停留在这种中国人才有的固有思维实在太傻了，Mike并没有让我们来换算成功，也没有让我们来计算勤奋的比例，他所要求的只不过让我们跟随着节奏和Hip Hop感觉强烈的Rap中不断的将Fort Minor记住，从这一刻起绝对要牢记这个名字 Fort Minor - 100% percent reason to remember the name！
