Forgot About Dre - Dr. Dre feat. Eminem

为了完成自己给广大爱吃水煮鱼的同仁们推荐 RAP 大餐的许诺，回家开始翻箱倒柜找自己珍藏的RAP歌曲，收获不少，以后会陆续给大家推荐。今天给大家介绍一下 Dr. Dre。

国内听RAP的人可能不能算多，其中知道 Dr. Dre 的应该不算少数。Dr. Dre 原名 B. Andre Young，1965年2月18日生于洛杉矶的South Central。他被公认为西海岸痞子说唱的创始人和领军者，滚石杂志尤其推崇他。Dre 的音乐生涯开始于洛杉矶的一家跳舞俱乐部 Eve After Dark，他在那里做DJ，把一些灵魂乐的经典如 Martha 和 The Vandellas 重新混音。他的经历我不愿多说，本人也不甚了了，就是觉得这个人个性十足。就象大多数rap明星一样，Dre从来就是富有争议的，甚至当他买进位于 San Fernando 的豪宅的时候，也受到了争议。Dre 得耗费金钱精力和权威对抗，这样他才有可能做一个真正的痞子说唱歌手。1991年，电视主持人 Dee Barnes 曾经花费数百万美元控告 Dre 在一家好莱坞夜总会把他扔了出去，碰到了墙上。他还曾经被控打破了一位制作人的下巴，结果被判在家服刑，并且被安装监视器随时跟踪，还有一次在新奥尔良因为在一家酒店的大厅闹事儿被当地警方拘留。Eazy-E 唱片个公司也曾经因为他抱怨唱片公司的商业运作和资金问题，并且诅咒经理 Jerry Heller，最后他只好找到 Interscope 的J immy Iovine，在他的帮助下和同样有争议的 Marion “Suge” Knight 以及 Vanilla Ice 的代理人建立了自己的厂牌 Death Row Records。由于 The Chronic 专辑和 Doggy 的成功，以及签下了说唱乐的超级新星 2Pac，这一切使得 Death Row 成为当时美国最有影响力的唱片公司之一。但是就在1996年公司一切运转良好，风头鼎盛的时候，Dr.Dre 突然无情的出走组建了自己的公司 Aftermath。新公司的首张专辑是一张合集，其中优秀的单曲是着 Dre 滔滔不绝风格的 Been There Done That，这是对痞子说唱乐和 Death Row 唱片公司的一次巨大冲击。1998年 Dre 又出现在媒体的焦点里，这一次他是作为 Eminem 那张极具冲击力和争议的LP专辑 The Slim Shady 的制作人出现的。接下来的11月，他出版了一张对于乐迷等待已久的专辑《Dr. Dre 2001》，其中与众多的说唱艺人包括 Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. 今天我们听到的这首歌就是选自《Dr. Dre 2001》，坦率的说这首歌乃至整张专辑的歌词并不是最出色的，因此，我在这里极力向大家推荐它的主要原因是它的音乐。就像专辑中大部分歌曲一样，歌曲节奏都录得特别干净利索，让人听起来一点也不觉得吵。象当今其他流行音乐唱片一样，专辑里几乎所有的歌曲都使用了大量采样技术，但混音师非常恰当地把这些采样得来的声音控制在很次要的水平，使之不影响主要乐器的音色。所有这一切都是为了突出人声，使听众能非常清楚地听懂歌手的演唱。 Rap的唱法其实是很有讲究的，好的Rap歌手往往都能在吐字清楚的同时保持自如果你现在仍然认为Rap没有旋律的话，这张专辑会让你大吃一惊。里面几乎所有的歌曲都有好听的旋律，更准确地说是一小段不断重复的优美动机。这些动机大多数是被键盘或者吉他演奏出来。为了使音乐整体上显得干净，器乐演奏大都不加任何和弦，只奏单音。说它们旋律好听，绝不是流行情歌那种让人听了起腻的调子，而是有一种说不出来的酷劲儿。
